About TIP

Since 1995, Dana Carpenter has been sharing God’s Word with inner city children and their families in Cleveland.  She was commissioned by Bay Presbyterian Church to be a full-time urban missionary and eventually developed and became the director of what is now known as The Isaiah Project.

The ministry began in a small church on the Westside of Cleveland but eventually grew beyond capacity.  As that happened, Dana and her team sought the Lord on how to grow the ministry.  God eventually shared a vision and a model with them for transforming people, churches and neighborhoods.

Initially, God began to open doors to churches in neighborhoods where some of the kids were being bussed from. Over time He provided opportunities for connecting The Isaiah Project with other churches that were seeking to reach out to their own neighborhoods. This ministry has now moved out beyond its humble beginnings to extend outside of The United States.
